Themacs' Journey...

Themacs' journey together began when they met on March the 3rd, 1993, at Monash University. Despite their determination to spend the academic year focusing on their studies, many games of "Mr Squiggle" and many walks through the not so black forest ensued. As we all know, such things inevitably lead to romance and romance leads to love and love leads to marriage. Well in the old days it used to - and call themacs old fashioned because that's what happened!

And now, 9 years down the track, themacs are quickly disproving the diminishing theory of "two becoming one" as they seem to keep on acquiring more things, both material and otherwise, with which to fill their lives.

Ken has become very well travelled as he has pursued a multinational technical training career with Ericsson and Kirrily has become exhausted as she has pursued an enriching secondary teaching career.

Now living in their third rental property, themacs are happy to announce the recent acquisiton of a block of land in the newly established Laurimar Estate (north of Greensborough in Melbourne).

Two budgies help keep the house lively and in the future themacs hope to add some children and a couple of dogs to body count of their household.

In their spare time themacs enjoy socialising, travelling, bushwalking, cycling, movies, and being creative in their respective areas of gifting (for Ken it's music and computers/electronics, for Kirrily it's cooking, dressmaking and writing). They are trying to acquire a greater interest for gardening and housework (particularly ironing).
