Base and Frame Stage...



Remember this barren piece of dirt we called ours in May 2001...
 

...Well, the first signs of life on our dirt were spotted on the 19th of February, 2002. A water meter!



March 13th, 2002 - at last! Our house has begun. Here's a picture of me in the garage.

 


April 8th, 2002 - our waffle slab taken from the north-west corner (it's hard to take photos from the designated "photo spot" when someone has dumped and entire steel frame in the way!).

April 9th, 2002 - why waste time? Here's the concrete slab (taken from the west) poured the next day! (Can you see my shadow???)

 


April 13th, 2002 - Ken is in our new lounge room! It's a bit breezy though...

 


April 29th, 2002 - a frame complete with windows. And is that bricks I see around the front? (Photo taken from the south-west)
